that's the processor. Celeron is an exceptionally slow processor sort, and is used for notebooks different the time (because of the fact they're extremely much less high priced). What i might do is purchase a sparkling one. in case you have not got the money to purchase a sparkling one, you are able to improve your RAM then (one million GB, possibly 2). be careful what sort of RAM you purchase, there are distinctive styles of.

At cnet.com, they have reviews of tons of laptops.
The consumerreports.com site is great too, but it's not free.
Here are a few of their recommendations.
"Laptops come with a 40- to 160-gigabyte hard drive and 256 megabytes or more of random-access memory (RAM). We recommend at least 512 MB."
"Many laptops can accept an "extended" battery, adding size and weight but giving as much as twice the battery life." Playing DVDs uses more battery power. A wide-aspect display (WXGA or WSXGA) fits wide-screen DVD movies better.
"An increasingly common option is an internal Bluetooth wireless adapter to link to a cell phone, PDA, or another laptop."
"Since the average cost of repair is usually not much more than the average cost of an extended warranty, we don't recommend buying a service you might not use."
If low price is a priority: Gateway NX510S, $740
Good balance of power, speed, and mobility: Dell Inspiron E1505, $1,120 (Be sure to not to get one with the recalled battery type.)
Best choices for an entertainment PC: Apple Macbook Pro 17" $2,800, or HP Pavilion dv800t $1,315
Smart pick for on-the-go computing: Sony VAIO VGN-SZ140 or VGN-SZ240, $1,980

if you are already using a notebook then for this stuff you dont need a new one you need a new one only when your games are not running on it and you need a better machine. otherwise you will be only speding money on a VCD Player which you can definetly get much cheaper
