Yes I believe. Experiment it by keeping some sweet eatables or sugar in an air tight container nearer to the place where the ants are and see after few hours or days. You will be surprised to see ants eating the food inside it.

No.
Not in this dimension.
Perhaps in the6th dimension according to the string theory.
The string theory is the Theory which describes about strings, very small , massless particles thought to be the real constituents of Energy.

A string can be as small as 10 to the power minus 36 meters.

They are the form of energy in Quarks.
so if we can transform eveything inside the ant into energy( only possible through transporting the ants through an unknown substance into the 6th dimension) then if we can re-transform the substance the , possibly we can teleport the ants to another place

This has very little to do with string theory but to answer your question, ants are small so they can squeeze into tiny places. You would be immensely surprised by their size and flexibility due to it. Therefore it has nothing to do with disappearing acts. Astrowhiz on Yahoo Groups is a nice way to post and start discussions on astronomy and space!!

in this world as far as we know, no. But if you believe adhere to what string theorist postulize, then yes. However, just not in this dimension but perhaps in one of the 11 other dimensions each of which has its own different laws governing space and time.
