All flat panels are inherently digital.
for TV monitors in todays marketing terms, the digital ones have a digital ( freeview ) receiver, and the analogue ones don't .
If your question relates to computer monitors, then digital ones have DVI connectors, enabling them to be controlled digitally by your graphix card.

Well Analogue are the CRT ( Cathode Ray Tube) Monitors, the ones with the big backs... Digital Monitors are LCD ( Liquid Crytal Display ) The difference is Analogue produces light in a tube & the process for the display but in Digital its directly pixelled & produced clear as crystal. One more thing all LCD Flat screen monitors are not Digital. - Dr.Doom.

the only difference between them is that analogue monitors were the older version on which you change the display settings with analogue buttons whereas the digital monitors have the digital touch buttons and there are many options to change there viewing settings.
