ip want to take my kids to see it on wednesday, is it recommended

It is a good movie, but there was a scene with a guy drinking a beer, which I thought was wrong for a cartoon movie.After all, it is for kids.So I did'nt like that part at all.Because when I seen the movie, there were alot of children under the age of ten.It can be scary for the younger ones, so make your own judgement! This film was rated PG by the MPAA for scary images and sequences, thematic elements, some crude humor and brief language.
Some people say that a "PG-13" rating is more appropiate for this movie.
It might be too scary for younger children.

I read reviews all saying that it was fantastic. But if I remember correctly, some stated that it was a bit scary for the younger tykes.

I saw it and if they are like 7ys it might scared them at the beginning but it has a happy ending..
