It's a water pill, do not take while pregnant!
You are lucky that you and the baby didn't die last time. Any water pill will cause you to dehydrate, meaning your fluids will diminish.
What exactly is surrounding your baby? A bag of water! The embryonic sac will start to have less fluid in it. It's like pulling the plug on your baby. When this happens, what do you think will happen to you? You probably felt faint and weak, on top of having to go to the washroom constantly. The docter that prescribed it to you probably did it for edema, but never should have given it to a pregnant or nursing woman.
If I were you, I'd look into finding a lawyer, to sue that former docter for malpractice.
