Because psychologically the advert companies think that if they shout they will get your attention and the more the advert is "shouted" then it will be imprinted in your brain. Even though people will probably find it annoying, the makers have achieved what they set out to do ie. make you take notice and perhaps buy the product. It's the same approach with the window advert (bogof) They all shout too ! I wish we could tell them all to BOG OFF !!

Because they want to take your mind off the fact that 'Cillit Bang' is so unhealthy! Get the COSHH data and Safety data sheets from them - bet you won't buy it any more, unless you have all the correct PPE, that is! I would be surprised if they would allow that stuff on a building site.

I wish I knew - perhaps he's deaf? I change channel when the ad comes on, but then I find that obnoxious little boy prancing along with a mouthful of breakfast cereal so I change again only to find some decrepid old filmstar simperingly trying to sell me a death policy (she calls it life but can't be cos it only pays out after you're gone) by which time ol' loudmouth has probably finished his yelling and I can settle back down to watching the programme he interrupted!

i agree that has to me one of the most annoying adverts ever.
maybe he thinks shouting gets the point across better, like wow if he is shouting it must be good,
kinda sounds like desperation lol, maybe the next advert will be an earnest please buy cillit bang we have a warehouse full of it pleasee!!!!

Haha I am SO with you on this! I HATE BARRY F-ING SCOTT! Have to mute sound when his horrible ads come on. And won't buy the product till he calms down :-)

I don't know why he shouts but its really annoying maybe he should use some in his his ears.
