why can nobody use grammar????????

And on to: knowing when to use it's and its,
and a whole host of others, but cannot think of any at the moment.
I gather what is happening is that as more and more people spell words a certain way, more and more people see them spelled that way and take it to be the correct spelling.
I, too, suffer from spelling annoyance disorder. In theory, I feel okay about people having different levels of spelling accuracy, but when I see it, I can find it rather unsightly! The final stage is when a word is misspelled so very often that it becomes common usage and recognized by the dictionary.

I spell it definetly for years until for an exam I got 95 because of it.
I learned my lesson since then....
