About 2 weeks ago I felt my hubby had very dry skin. I massage his body daily while I use lotion on him and it always kept his skin smooth but for some reason it has not been working.

Should I use a different product of lotion? PLEASE tell me what lotion you use on your hubby so I can get his skin smooth again, thanks.

I'm a husband, i.e. a married man. Can I just take a second or two to explain why I loathe the derrivative term 'hubby': It smacks of a relationship that has become so comforatbly stagnant that secretly underneath you're just waiting to burst out into the night screaming for something interesting to happen. It's like offering a handshake to someone and receiving a slithering wet fish instead...death to the 'hubby' institution!
As an adult, your husband should be old and wise enough to consult a dermatologist by himself (or at the very least his GP) if his skin condition is that worrying to him. Have some bloody backbone for goodness sake!

My husband has the same problem.Usually it is just in the winter but everyone is different. His skin gets so bad it will crack and bleed.I noticed this in our first month of dating actually.I bought him the nuetrogena lotion. It's a very small tube in a modest package.Fragrance free. And it works like a charm. We haven't had any problems since. If you want to email me i will try and find more info for exactly which one it is.It's not winter so I don't believe we have any right now but I will try and figure out the exact name of it. sunkissed299@yahoo.com

ok.He just found the tube.It is the nuetrogena norwegian formula.Just buy a small bottle tho.you only need a little dab really. He says it doesn't sting either.LOL.He instisted I throw that info in there.hope that helps.

I'm from the north and when it gets cold...it gets cold. In Montana in the winter, there is no humidity. What I used to do for my dry hands was use either midicated chapstick or petroleum jelly. I locks the moisture in and it doesn't evaporate. It wouldn't hurt to drink at least 1-2 liters of water /day.

I use Jafra's Royal Jelly Body Complex, along with their Royal Almond Lotion, which smells wonderful! He may be dehydrated!

Try a fish oil supplement and get him to go to the doctor as he may have something wrong with him especially if he doesnt usually have dry skin. check his diet is clean and healthy and that he drinks a lot of water.
