each e-mail addressed to a different person. today i got 260 not addressed to me. i have tried all mail help places without getting help. who can i contact to stop this?

everyone is addressed to a different person and not to you? but in your mailbox. better have a talk with your box holder. no one should be putting another person's mail in your box.

Just get a new email address, you have passed the point of no return. FYI, using a random "to" name in spam is a old trick of spammers. They realized that human nature being what it is, that many people can not resist the chance to read some one else mail that was "misdelivered". Once you get your new account, do not use it for contests, game sites, forums that post email addreses, or to respond to any you have won "insert prize here" banners. Also do not sign up for anything at bravo.tv as these are all just scams to get your address so they can start up again.

you mean you got SPAM emails, if this account where in outlook then you can simply make a fliter to delete the spam, else you can select to receive e-mails only from people you know on yahoo or hotmail or report each e-mail of these as spam then you will receive it in BULK / JUNK folder

All I Do Is "Report As Spam"...It's Stops It For A While...But As For A Fool-Proof Plan...I Have No Idea...Good Luck Though.

Well its normal. you are talking about Yahoo mail right? what you have to do is select all so called mail & click on "Spam" button. & it will go to your "Bulk folder" henceforth. Probaby your e-mails we say something about a Financial oppurtunity or investment or something like that. Just select them all & hit Spam. _ Dr.Doom

you can raise the level of security of your internet thru options then security. Then you can also click all the emails you don't know and then click spam. They won't return.
