Do the tunes you are listening to mean anything to you? I got Bruce, the Allman Brothers, Neil Young and a tribute to Waylon Jennings playing on a mix. This question was born out of the fact that "Thunder Road" is playing right now...and it reminds me of a highschool flame, my old camaro and a time that was so much simpler than now.
Anyone got a story for me?

its nearly 5 in the afternoon here, yes im drinking vodka and orange and listening to the best of the beatles, it reminds me of growing up in liverpool were the beatles are still on all the pub juke boxes, and wearing too much makeup and high heels to try and get served in the pubs underage. Oh yes and when friday night was the highlight of the week!!

I sit up in silence at this point.
There is music in my head I have never head anywhere before.
I try to play it on hte guitar, but its never capable of comparison to what is in my head.
No really... No music right now in my head...
Just silence...
Its so quiet in this 11 million person city at this time of night...
AHHHH so refreshing...
I love the music you listed, but lots of times it almost makes me fear and loath too much. It just depends on hte mood.
And this mood, aint the time for fear and loathing. Maybe in a couple hours when im straight I can contemplate doom or the american dream some more.
I love listening to those songs, and artists.
But i just find myself wanting to go someplace else...

man i wish i was drinking but i'm only 15 and my parents are home :( yeah i have to say most of the music i listen to means a lot to me and i can relate to most of it. and if not then i just really like it. i can't say i like that kind of stuff though, actually right now i'm listening to nirvana. man kurt cobain is effin hot. ok man i'm fricken tired so just thought i would tell you all that crap.
