I'm going to be waiting for my shuttle bus out in the baggage claim at Ohare. I'm going to be arriving with United (Probably terminal 1) at 5 in the morning and my shuttle bus doesn't arrive until 11. Is there a place where I can sit down and read? And is there lockers avaliable or a secure place where i can leave my luggage? Also, does anyone know if I don't show up to claim my bags immediatly, will the airlines hold my bags for me or what?

Thanks.

I had a layover of four hours there once -- when I used to NOT live in Chicago.

There is a Hilton attached to O'Hare Airport. What I did that really was cool is that the Hilton has a health club. They have a full compliment gym or you can just walk on a treadmill and watch TV. You can go workout, do the spa, steam bath thing, jacuzzi, shower, relax, even take a nice nap and comeback really refreshed. Do any or all of those things -- it's better than sitting around for six hours.

They have everything you need and it isn't too expensive to access all these things.

All the other folks have said to eat or read -- but seriously, this is the best thimg with that kind of time to waste. Plus you'll feel better.

Take a cab, and go eat the best deep dish pizza of your life at Jeno's East, then take a cab back to the airport, and do't let 'em know you left!
