If you are living in the equatorial region, then you probably need a sunscreen with SPF 60 that blocks UVA and UVB rays. This sunscreen will however last roughly about less than eight hours.
You will need to reapply after that! The sunscreen needs to be water resistant too.

Products with Licorice extract would help too. I have tried Nivea and SOS for my face.

The best sunscreen is shade. If you're looking for a sunscreen product, they are all basically the same - higher number = more protection, but they only work if you wear them and re-apply every couple of hours (more so if you sweat more).

Obviously look for the highest spf for your skin type but more importantly look at the star rating!
If it is a factor 20 for instance but the star rating is only 3, leave it alone. Always check the stars, the more stars the better protection.

I recommend Ambre Solaire. They have lots of different creams for all skin types imaginable and also they do sprays, lotions and little mini sachets which are perfect to fit into a beach bag or purse etc.
