Many have died for our freedoms. Please don't take them for granted.

Yes. Wouldn't you?

If I die, I die for a cause, and what more can anyone ask for than to die for something worth dying for?

If I trade my freedoms, and continue to live, I would not really be living, would I? Since life is so short, if I cannot improve conditions in my own life, I'd at the very least try to leave a legacy for improvement in future generations.

Of course, I'd be curious to know which side you're on, because this is the sort of question that both sides (liberal and conservative) ask...

No one wants to trade their freedoms (except that fool a few spaces up from my comment)...it's just that opposite sides have different ideas about what their freedoms are.......and perhaps more importantly, who else should have the same freedoms.

I would rather die than Give Up my freedom. Yes.

I would rather die fighting for my freedom than die enslaved. Enslaved is too boring, and I'm already bored. Come and try to take away my freedom. I can't wait.

No. I'd rather fight side by side with corporate leaders and politicians' sons and daughters.

Then, after the fight, we all will have earned our freedom.

The next thing to decide would be what to do with it?

Can we eat freedom? Will I be totally free living in a desert with no food, clothing or shelter?

Isn't freedom a beautiful thing?

It's a nice sounding word.

"Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety. ."
- Benjamin Franklin

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."
- Samuel Adams

You first have to define freedom. The current administration has a very blured view of what that is.

Whilst there is life… there is hope!

It is a bit hard trying to fight for your freedom once you are dead! For that reason, I would choose life, and continue the fight for freedom!!!
