When I was a very little girl I used to sit by my window waiting for Peter Pan to come and take me away to Never Never Land. I totally believed he was real.
And I do believe in faeries!

My father always told me that Peter Pan is a monster and even though mydad is a lil crazy he's not wrong, here. While there is nothing wrong with wanting to "stayyoung" the desire to remain a child forever is against our nature not just as humans but as animals as well. That which does not develop into an adult is a mutant; an unsubstantiated being. Then there's theline where Peter tells Wendy that he's going to come back for her children...
awful stories, these bedtime tales we tell our kids.

I LOVE PETER PAN! It is very mystical and helps your mind wander into a place where most adults would love to be...a place without responsabilies and pirates. Haha. Honestly I've never read the book but the movies, especially the one with Mary Martin as Peter, and the more recent movie, Hook. It's a classic story of never wanting to grow up! I love it!

Yes, I do.
Did you ever realize that there are lots of stories that "borrow" from the Peter Pan theme. For instance, The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg.
Something to think about............

Yes, as I child I vowed to never stop being enthusiastic about life. I saw/see most grown ups as half alive zombies just waiting their time out in this penalty box called life. I have had a wonderful time so far dancing while others plodded. Had three great kids that are amazing adults. Good life in the country and spend my days making the elderly and disabled laugh. Getting serious is overrated.
