Exercise and lowering dietary fats are good ways to lower your triglycerides.

There are some medications that can do it too.

Consult your doctor.

Don't eat fats, or fatty foods. If you use oil, use canola or olive, and use very little.Lose weight if you need and exercise. See your doctor and they probably will give you something if it is too high. I found that the hydrogenated oil is really bad in raising triglyceride levels. I use Smart Balance Margarine. It has no hydrogenated oil and tastes very good, like butter.

Diet changes are helpful but sometimes it's genetic just like high cholesterol and you meds. I agree, you need to see a Dr.
