Use a bicycle for leisure trips.
Buy a locking gas cap. Not too big of an issue now, but soon it may be if the gas prices creep up near $5/gal.
Keep up with regular maintenance. You might be surprised how big a difference an air filter or new plugs and wires can make on fuel consumption. A "small" thing such as correct tire pressure can make a big impact at the pump.

replace your air filter and fuel filter. make sure your tires are properly inflated. accelerate smoothly and slowly and slow down slowly. make sure your engine has enough oil. make sure the transmission has enough oil. if your spark plugs/wires are old replace them. empty out your trunk and all the crap that is piling up. stop using your air conditioner. don't leave the vehicle idling while parked. keep the vehicle well maintained. use the cruise control whenever you can. if the service engine soon or check engine light is on have the vehicle fixed.

You need good body kit the more aerodynamic you car is the less wind drag you cleat with good body kit you can save 20% of you petrol
