I got it for 14000 INR - 6 months back.
Now it must be less by 2000 bugs

probably around $250, or less.
i used to own a 6230i before i bought a new one a month ago - a motorola razr v3x. 6230i is a really nice phone with lots of handy features, and i chose it before because it had all the features i was looking for. but it's kinda heavy... and the battery life easily degrades... and of course, the current trend is 3G and 6230i is not yet capable of that.

depends on where you are. I'm in Manila and mine cost around $300. it's a great phone. i have a hard time letting go of it except that it's not 3G capable. but if you're not into video streaming etc i would highly recommend the 6230i. it's great for music, videos and photos. it's excellent.
