Go on and book it - don't let the current problems stop you doing that. This will give you longer to look forward to your holiday and that is one of the best things ever. Planning, saving, buying clothes, looking up websites. Have a best time ever. Don't book for 1st April though due to April Fools Day!!!! Say a hellow to the Sphinx from me.

I think it's always better to wait until nearer the time before booking a holiday.
For example, I've just come back from Brasil. I'd planned the trip a year before, but didn't book any flights.
Two weeks before I left, the Brasilian airline, Varig, went bust, causing delays and cancelations in all the airports around the country.
I booked my internal flights with another company, Tam, and didn't have a single problem.
All the other travellers I met during my stay had booked with Varig and had loads of delays.
