My brother, who is a total rnb/hip-hop/Eminem/gangsta-wannabe can't shut UP about how great he is, and telling me and wanting to show me how he has done it and does it!

lol, the SPCA does not care about worms or insects. However it has been shown that children who do such things(frequently) and receive pleasure from it, have shown to have borderline personality disorders. If you do not stop it, your little brother will eventually move on to animals. Was doing a psych rotation, where a little boy used to pull the back legs off of grasshoppers, eventually started setting cats , rats, dogs on fire to cover the fact that he was skinning them alive. It is the development of a preponderance to hurt others, that starts at an early age (they actually think it's funny, or makes them superior because they can harm something else, and get away with it). Make him stop now, or it will only get worse.

I think it is cruel because it is a living organism and can feel pain. Why would somebody enjoy hurting anything living unless they are sick in the mind.
I am sure it bothers you that your brother does that.

it is a bad sign. the humane society and police have recognized that many ..(bad criminals ....) start out abusing animals and progress to hurting people.
Talk to your parents and teachers.
