Immeasurable.

Stagnation and isolationism.

Countries have done this in the past and a few do it even now. Some are by choice, and a few are due to the fact that they cannot seem to get along with the other countries in the world.

While some may argue that this helps to keep the cultural backgrounds pure, it's typically a death waiting to happen for that country.

A country or culture that opts to keep to itself will not grow with the rest of the world and will either die off, become so minimal as to no longer matter, or will gain a new government that does want interaction with other cultures.

Love as always,

Sebastian
