well since you can only answer 20 questions a day (which equals 40 points) and you can vote for 20 answers (meaning hit discover and then go to vote undecided and then select the answer you think is the best) also you just asked a question and that cost you 5 points but when you choose a best answer you get three back, also when your answer is selected as the best answer you get 10 more points. also you get a point for signing in daily and now that you have started they gave you 100 points. to get to level two you must get up to 250 points and your participation limits change. please go here for what you can do and how much you can do and how much each thing is worth.

As you answer questions, you will get 2 points. They will accumulate as you continue to participate. However, at the beginning level, you are limited in the amount of answers that you can submit. As you progress, your level will increase as will your amount of allowed participation. There are certain point values assigned to Best Answer, Welcome, You Picked A Best Answer, but you will have 5 points removed for each question that you ask or 1 point for an Answer Violation.
Click on My Q&A and look on the right side of the page that shows up, then click on Tell Me More and that will show you all the details you need. Have fun and don't feed the trolls.

go to your avatar and details (top left). put the cursor over the blue numbers on your level or score and click. It will answer all your questions. like wise do the same with your name.
