It depends if you are a left foot kicker, or a right foot kicker, plus whether you are kicking from the left hand side, the right hand side, or from the middle.

The amount of wind will also affect your kicks. I will describe ideal conditions, little or no wind to affect the ball, and that you will be kicking the ball from a place kick, a kicking tee, or pile of sand, etc.

1) Kick from left hand side of field.
a) Right footer.
a.1) Line the ball up, on the kicking to, so that the ball is facing towards the middle of the goal posts. You may have to change the direction of the ball to siut your style, ie, if the ball went to the left of the posts, line the ball up between the middle and the right hand post. Do not go past the right hand post.
b) Left footer.
b.1) Line the ball up with the left hand post. Again you may have to change where you aim at.

2) Kick from right hand side.
a) Right footer.
a.1) Aim at right hand post.
b) Left footer.
b.1) Aim in middle of posts.

3) Kick from center of field.
a) Both feet.
a.1) Aim at middle of posts.

For all kicks, you may have to move the position you are aiming at, due to your unique kicking style. Above all practice, on windy, rainy days, so you can expect to be able to kick in all conditions.

Just aim between the goal posts, position your body towards the post as well and make a fast momentum kick; high enough for a point rise. Plus, you should make this a not ot far from the post kick and also make it a fast and calculative kick before anyone tackles you down. so, it's all about practice and more practice...

Pretend the ball is the head of the person you hate the most and unleash the fury with your foot.

If you're also looking for accuracy, pretend that person's beheaded body is lying where you want to kick it and aim where the sun don't shine!

=) I was a goalie and that's how I would always imagine it.
