You could get pregnant no matter what... especially if your not super good about taking them at the same time every day without fail. You're not supposed to ovulate at all so if you took all of the hormone pills perfectly you shouldn't get pregnant when you're taking the 7 sugar pills (it's always a small possibility then). You should get your period when you take the sugar pills. Read the info that comes with your pills. You should be better educated about this stuff if you're going to be on it.

Nothing is 100% effective. You can get pregnant while taking BC pills. And word of warning!!! Taking antibiotics can make your BC pills less effective; a lot of doctors don't tell you this when they give you antibiotics, so be careful. I have a child to prove this. You should have your partner use a condom while you are on antibiotics.

I don't quite understand what you mean by "sugar" pills. Most birth contol pills are safe and effective but nothing is 100% sure.

With the pill the chances are very unlikely.I believe it's over 99.9% effective. But it can happen. But I don't worry about it.I don't think it would happen to me but if by some chance it did
it would't be the end of the world.
