No - he may embarrass you by telling you he's gay, married or just doesn't fancy you. Leave it as a crush, you may even find out that if he did say yes you don't really fancy him at all. The chase is sometimes much better than the catch.

just consider him as teacher not lover
have some respect and morality
do not act derived by fantacy or infatuation. be logical.
