I would suggest for you to get in touch with your OBGYN about this. Was there no "period" at all right after childbirth?

I have always heard from Dr's that it is MUCH MUCH easier to get pregnant right after childbirth... the cervix takes time to close so it is easier for the sperm to pass. You never know when your period will come back you might already be ovulating! If your not planning on haveing another one in 9 months I would say Use Protection!

it is so no longer authentic. There aren't any secure days. i idea an same about the withdrawl technique and that i have been given faraway from getting pregnant for rather a lot 5 years yet finally it stuck as a lot as me and that i have been given pregnant yet regrettably miscarried. I have a 4 twelve months previous son and that i'm no longer waiting purely yet to have yet another. We used condoms yet then we would not use no longer some thing in any respect reason i particularly believed you ought to no longer get pregnant on you're era properly i did. in case you do not favor extra children get you're tubes tied or get you're hubby fastened. After 11 years with my husband we use condoms and it does no longer hardship me or him. considering that miscarriage we are extra careful. you may get pregnant at each and every time so do not fool your self and finally end up pregnant once you do not favor anymore children. Use spermicides previously sex ex. foam/vcf video clips/ky spermicide/sponge......... extra effective secure than sorry yet i must be making use of condoms or go and performance my tubes tied. i'm 26 years previous with one newborn and that i have been wondering about getting my tubes tied. I mean in case you comprehend you do not favor anymore go and verify out this. good success and be secure

You should seek out "Natural Family Planning" clinic. You need to learn the symptoms of ovulation, that is when you can get pregnant. Also after childbirth, breast feeding particularly at night produces estrogen, which inhibits ovulation but you need expert advise, not just somebody on the Internet.

NO. Because before you get that first period you will ovulate. I know plenty of women that got pregnant without ever getting their periods back.

Please check out a book called "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" it will tell you all the hows and whys of a womans body and her cycles.

No it's not safe. You are not going to know when your period is going to start and than it might be too late- because you ovulate before your period starts.

If you're not doing anything to prevent getting pregnant - you will get pregnant - Murphy's (and nature's) Law. Breastfeeding is also NOT a method of birth control. Hey, I've had four kids - I kinda figured it out.
