call them by their names - eveyone loves the sound of their own name

Follow-up calls, for one thing.

Give them all magnet-backed business cards they can post in a handy place so that you seem available all the time.

Send them Christmas cards if you don't send them token gifts.

Make sure they get a same-day callback whenever they call with a problem, giving them the status of whatever it is whether you have solved the problem yet or not.

If your company has any unusual set of procedures or ways of doing things that might be confusing to a client, put out a written letter telling them whatever information about it that might be useful to them.

Before you go on vacation, find out who will be handling their needs while you are out. Call them and tell them the name and extension where the person can be reached and ask if there is anything you can do for them before you leave.

If you ever visit their offices in person, wear your very best suit, even if they have a casual environment for a workplace. Not only will it help you seem professional, but it will remind them that you are there to serve them.

Make sure you use the words "I am sorry" any time there is a mix-up or a mistake, or even if there is some question about a discrepancy. Too many company reps hesitate to utter those words, but especially to older people an apology can go a long way.

I can't think of anything else you wouldn't already know at the moment.

I'm not really sure what you mean by this, what setting? What sort of client? Counselling client? Massage client? Legal client? If it's the first, you need to do something called unconditional positive regard, so the client understands that you are a soft place to fall, that they can release and experience emotions they otherwise kept in check because, unlike everyone else around them, you will never judge, you will never make them feel unwanted because you have unconditional positive regard for them. If it's the second, be friendly basically..what do you care? You are providing a service, giving massages, facials whatever, and they are reaping a benefit, so long as you don't dislike them and they you, that's pretty fine. If it's the latter, you need to cultivate a trust so that the client is able to be honest with you so you can do your best job to get them the best legal outcome. But again, if they don't like you, it doesn't really matter, so long as there is a respect and trust...

Not sure what type of clients you're speaking of, but ... you should always welcome them, make sure they feel comfortable, build up a trust level so you can confide in each other on exactly what they expect from whatever service you're giving them. Also, you can plainly tell them. If you love having them as a client, let 'em know! Everyone loves to be loved! :) & Even though they aren't tendering any service, I'm sure that type of feedback would still be flattering! Good luck!

Care and concern, after service rendered or transaction made. Maintain contact with them, not only when you need a sale. Send a birthday card or something on special occasions. Make them treat you like a friend, and not another service/sales person.

Assuming you mean in the skin and body industry. I would say personal attention, ask about general like questions and always be welcoming, with a smile.

First you must really want the client, and then you must be genuine. The rest will follow

feels....encouraged. write down their needs, then write down their wants. then offer them resources and if need be walk that mile in their shoes all the way past happiness to money in the bank. All else is propaganda and shall be met by frustration.~daniel~8/20/6

Always try to greet them by their name. Listen to them and make them feel that they are very special to you. Give them your business card. Always greet them with a smile and take it from there...
