Hi there.
about fifteen years ago i had a "stroke" but it was all in my mind psyco sematic (not sure of the spelling)
Anyway, my left side was numb, or almost completely no feeling.my speach was slured, and i was a mess, it felt like soomeone hit me with baseball bat..
ok what i learned was THE LEFT BRAIN,CONTROLS THE RIGHT SIDE OF YOUR BODY,
AND THE RIGHT BRAIN CONTROLS THE LEFT SIE.
the right brain, is your emotional side, which controls emotions, feelings, etc, and then the left brain is the analitical (maybe mispelled) anyway, the reasoning, calculations, perceptions etc.
i had been depressed, and the doctors after months of thinking i had a tumor, or an undiscovered disease that left me iin this condition finally convinced me i was depressed.= which they called this a conversion reaction
understand?
A CONVERSION REACTION IS FOR EXAMPLE, A YOUNG MAN IS AT THE FRONT LINES IN A WAR, AND IS ALMOST CERTAIN TO DIE, OR BE WOUNDED GETS SO FRIGHTENED, HE GOES BLIND, OR PARALYZED.
So my right brain told my left side to shut down and not feel anything,,, and my left side obeyed,,
ONE other interesting thing about the brain is: most men are left brained, they use more of the analytical process than the emotional, and women are right brained.
And this is not all men left and women right brained,
some males (Homosexuals) are right brained, and some females are left brained,
so there it is,
right is the emotional part of brain
left is analytical.

They are not quite correct. The right brain is more emotional than the left it is true, but the major emotional centres are actually sub-cortical structures. They are the Amygdala and Hippocampal regions. they interact with both right and left temporal lobes in order to produce and experience emotion.

Give me a day or two, I'll get something for you.
