The biggest disaster of the movie was the acting! Other than that the answer is no to evacuation question. I live in California, earthquakes of course are a threat but one with no warning, no advanced knowledge of location, no specified time, no chance to evacuate, etc. Katrina for example is a hurricane, the Gulf Coast has them every year, we can figure out speed, trajectory and just about every other advanced thing possible. Still look at the loss in life, destruction in property, economy, mobilization of resources, etc. I guess it just such a waste to have all this foreknowledge of this type of an event and know exactly what is going to be and still see it squandered by politicians and inefficient governing of resources and efforts.
