i have games that i bought, with the warranty. i want to exchange them for new ones because theres something wrong with them... follow? well, can i exchange them for the new ones, and then trade them in for credit at the same time, or will they get mad or something or not let me because they arent supposed to? also, how much more money will I get if I trade in new games, then used?

I know that most stores will let you trade a game back to them only if there is something wrong with the game and only for the same game that you bought. If the game is wrapped and unopened i don't see what the problem would be in getting a refund. If you trade your games in like that, even though they are new you still won't get that much back from them. Sounds like your trying to scam them by getting new games just to trade them. you can do better than that. If you tried that and i was working i would giggle then send you away. You might get 15 to 20 bucks a game, does not matter much if it is new or used.

you should get something of = value or the same thing. (my husband and I are former Gamestop employees). I doubt that you are going to get the same trade in for the new game if thats what you want. You are always going to lose out on that.

Basically it doesn't sound like you are going to be able to do that... my husband is a former Gamestop manager, and he would never do something like you are asking. It looks really fishy. All and all though, it depends on the manager that you turn in... read their policy on the back of your receipt. But I doubt seriously that someone is going to do that for you.

ps- you will get the same amount of the trade in new or used anyway.
