I can't say that I know whether a person is Muslim just by looking at them. I can sometimes tell if a person is Middle Eastern, but then again, I know some Mexicans who look Middle Eastern. So, no, it doesn't bother me much. I've known some Muslims and they were nice, I've known a few who weren't. You know, I think I get more worried about sitting next to a child or baby. Especially on a long flight. I think Americans are kinda losing their grip on reality by being so afraid all the time. The more freedom we give up to be "safe", the more the people who want us to suffer win. If we as a people lose our freedom, then what are we? Isn't freedom the whole reason anyone came to America to begin with?

there is clearly a super variety of diverse thoughts approximately your question. i think of that human beings would desire to look lots nearer to domicile for the perpetrators of the 9/11 and seven/7 activities. maximum of those accused of flying the planes for the 9/11 experience have been got here upon alive and nicely worldwide; thoroughly oblivious to the undeniable fact that they at the instant flew a airplane right into a construction. The 7/7 experience. This too, that's going to be shown, had no longer something to do with Islam or Muslims. we are all being deceived. the reason of those assaults replaced into completely to generate antagonisms between the faiths. If those human beings arrested for the 7/7 assaults, who would be got here upon in charge, of that I have not have been given any doubt, have been those in charge for the assaults as element of a holy conflict, does no longer it somewhat is far greater helpful to characterize their faith and declare that they had achieved it! A terrorist is in hassle-free terms a terrorist in the event that they actually declare that they have got achieved something! i've got faith that those arrested for the 7/7 experience additionally are harmless. The antagonisms that are being created between the religions serve a lots greater advantageous purpose. As I even have mentioned many situations in this digital ingredient, 'we are being lied to by utilising the media!!!' See the YouTube cyber web internet site for some greater instruction approximately 9/11. All religions would desire to unite against our unseen situation-free enemy.

I will stand with the Muslims that believes in peace. And you know there are many. Not every Muslim is a terrorist or has terroristic behaviors. Would I want one in my neighborhood? No. Would I want one on the airplane I'm on? No.
Last night I watched a documentary on suicide bombers and the ones that did not complete their mission and were in prison looked so composed about being a suicide bomber (Sha'hib) that it gave me the chills. Then it showed the followers (many) and so many people respected the suicide bombers that now I am sure that all flights into my country should be for business only. No more people moving in, only out. Close the borders, we have enough.

That's ridiculous, not the poll but the people. It makes Americans sound like a bunch of idiots who like to categorize people in an unfair way.

I have no negative feelings towards Muslims except when I watch them with their wives. Not all of them of course, but a few instances I have witnessed. For instance, in Munich I noticed a Muslim woman, who when she went to speak her husband slapped her and grabbed her arm to lead her away. I don't know what she said, but nothing verbal in public should warrant such a reaction. Things like that bother me, but I'm sure it is not only Muslims who do it. I also don't think that Muslims are the ones who are pulling all of this terrorist jive. Its the crazy zealots who claim they are Muslim, but according to actual Muslims, the terrorists are not being very good Muslims and are going against their religion's teachings.

I'd like to know how the Americans would notice a Muslim. I knew the couple mentioned above was based on their actions and clothing, but many modern-day Muslims are not so gung-ho about their clothing and could be any race. I think they (the general American public mentioned in the polls) would be stereotyping and think that if someone looked Arab they must be Muslim.... stupid people... people bother me.

That's a hard question. Most people are good, and we want to believe the person next to us is decent. It is when some take that belief and use it against others that mistrust looms it's ugly head. The tales of sleeper cells of mid-eastern people living a normal life but then acting out when that special call comes thru...that is the stuff of night-mares.

what the hell kinda pole is that. if you ask any hispanic or middle eastern people how they would fell about waiting in line at an atm in front of a black man 99% would say they would consider taking a run for it and having a black or hispanic neighbor, that would also probably get the blunt of negative voting in america. its time we as a nation move on with judging people by race or religion. you have to remember that making all muslims carry muslim id is less like the american jap camps and more like the stars of david the jews had to wear. its absoultely ludicrous. islam is a religion not like judiasm or christianity. its followers arent made up of the people it folled becuase they were damn stupid to begin with or the people it subjugated but by intelligent thinks who were trying to find the truth. islam is a worldwide religion that has members in every corner of the world be they middle eastern east asian, white, black, hispanic, whoever finds the truth converts. muslims arent based on their addresses.

Up to me Muslims are misdirected/mislead-ed in their ideology of work ship. But we cannot find fault with the whole Muslim community,it could be danger, the only reason for this is 'terrorism' carried out by them(terrorist) in various parts of world undauntedly, cruelly, inhumanely.what ever they are doing, they are simply showing their hands towards the Holy religion.
This kind of terrorism cannot be know or understood by ones religion/racism.Terrorism is hiding under the bed sheet of 'Islamic' religion, its hard to differentiate the bed sheet and person under that is a terrorist or not.

In this situation,Muslim community should come forward to protest against any ill/rude/cruel attack on public/any government, actually this not the case. They are protesting against Israel attack on Lebanon and Americans invasion of Afghanistan and Iran ,that is not wrong but in same way they should also protest against the 'terrorist' activities. They should conduct rally/protest against any kind of terrorist attack.
Muslim should come forward to nullify the factors behind them (resemblance of terrorist/hideouts of terrorist in Islam)before they are quarantined in the society which could be worst than ever and cannot be stabilized for ever

I wish I could say I don't have a problem with them. But honestly I will always wonder if a muslim walking by me is a terrorist. I guess it's just a side effect of 9/11. It is for many people.

I'm really fed up with you closed-minded people. Have you checked how many murderers in your prisons are muslim? Isn't there any terrorist out there who are not muslim? So why don't you blame their religion? Because they have the same religion as you do?

If you are not scared of Islam, you wont try to spread false rumour about Islam and created fear and prejudiced.

Close-minded cowards!!

I've got a few friends who are Muslims and they're not terrorist. They're law abiding citizen who are treated like a second class citizen because a few of them are terrorists. Being a muslim doesn't automatically make you a terrorist.
