What have you taken for a stuffy nose that has actually worked? It seems the things I buy never work and are just a waste of $

If this is not a problem with adnoids that should be addressed by a Dr. of medicine then I say Sudafed Liqui Gels. They are the blue capsules. Non drowsy, too. They work so well that an average sized person could start out with just one per how many hours the box says instead of the adult dosage of 2.
I was able to only do them once a day every other day or so. They worked for a few years and then I had to change to Clariton D. OTC, but rather expensive. They only worked for about a year. Now I am on Allegra. (Perscription and expensive) I am able to take half the dosage and only every other day or so when the symptoms seem to be starting again. There are also some good eye drops for allergies. The eyes being such an instant place for them to enter the body. Bausch and Lomb have OpCon-A. (OTC) I find that is very soothing to the tissues, too. It helps stop the throat itch, also. After that, there is (Perscription) Rhinocort Aqua nasal spray. But be careful with this one. Too many days in a row and you get such a headache. I take this every so often just to rotate between the above list. Be aware also when you have the nasal passage full the drainage that enters your body affects more than just the nose. Your joints, digestive tract and more are affected. Watch out for other aches associated with the allergy like migranes. Stay hydrated, drink lots of water.
