I read he is going to star in Equus, and there is a nude scene in which he is on horseback simulating a sex act. Do you think this will effect his Harry Potter image?

For those of you who don't think it's true - it is. As for it affecting his image - well, he doesn't want to be typecast so this will definitely break him out of the HP mold. The other thing is that since he isn't starting until next summer that will possibly be around the time that the 6th movie starts filming so he may have already decided not to do any after the 5th movie.
Personally, I can't imagine seeing it but it's what he wants to do.

Well, Equus is a very famous and respected play, and obviously parents aren't going to be bringing their little kids to the play so not really.
I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan, and when they announced it on Mugglenet and such, I was actually intrigued by the play, and now I want to read it.
I don't really think that it will effect his Harry Potter image, just boost his actor image, so he is less likely to be typecast.

SWT: He is 17, he plays a 15 yr-old. By next spring I assume he'll be 18. (Thats when the play starts)

Many prominent politicians and actors have become world-famous doing a lot more than simulating sex acts. I think it will put his publicity through the roof.

i dont think that's true...it would probably ruin his image...coz he's like the harry potter in real life and i dont hink his manager would allow it...

I already think he's bad but this just makes it even worse. He's degrading himself. But it's his loss.
