use StumbleUpon.
it's an internet engine who has a lot of categories only with good rated sites. it involves any domain.
the site's name is www.stumbleupon.com
it has a plugin for firefox [i do not know if it has more plugins for other web browsers] which is a toolbar. you have the "stumble" button which when pressed shows an intresting website.

I'm over 40 and don't use the chat because it seems like only teens and young adults do. I love to talk to people young and old though.

I'm 54, and used to use chat all the time, but I think it's been eliminated, because I can't find it anymore.

I dont know of any. It seems that kids have taken over chat and taken over this message board
