90% of the time Dr.Phil gives good advice.Sometimes he's annoying because he can be overly dramatic.

Dr. Phil is savvy good at being in front of the TV camera--and that's pretty much it. He publicly said he knew the whole thing about the Natalee Holloway Aruba disappearance and vowed to go after those he KNEW were guilty.
Yet here things stand: no one has been formally charged or proven guilty, the bad guys got away with it....and Holloway's body likely will never be found. What does Dr. Phil NOW have to say about this, oh I wonder????
The guy's a sham; I don't even bother watching his show.

I have my doubts about it. I know that I would never go to him for advice. I have watches him a couple of times on TV and I have mixed feelings about him. If I ever am going to need a therapist or psychologist I'm going to look for a real one that I'm sure of gives sane and sensible advice.

Once in a while he gives semi-good advise but it's just good luck, the man isn't a doctor of any kind and he isn't even a trained psychologist, he's a quack wanna-be!

I think on some things he does...but other problems, no.
It isn't even close to reality.
I don't like the way it keeps getting interrupted forcommercials after he says one or two sentences.
I don't watch it anymore for this reason.

Yes, he gives good advice. It's mostly based on common sense, and I don't like watching his show much, but he's very smart, and wouldn't intentionally misdirect anyone.

Yes but I think he has an irritating personality and Dog the Bounty Hunter should beat his *** into shape, Hawaian Style.

no...sometimes he comes down on the wrong person....for instance...i saw a show where this woman was just screaming her head off at her husband and calling him names...he told the woman she needs not to yell....and told the guy he needs to pay better attention because he causes her to do those things...she even admitted that she yells at him...because of her own depressed state of mind...he blamed the husband for her depression....as a fact that I heard...he never went o school for this type of counseling...he's just a real good friend of Oprah's

Why take some ugly, fat, balding dude seriously? His wife is probably traumatized by seeing his gruesome looking body nude everyday. She must be in a support group for women whose spouses are hideous neanderthals.
