I would like to try a shadow to help bring out my eyes. My eyes are light brown, kind of amber colored. I'm asian, light skinned, black hair.

Hey, I'm asian as well, and while it's sometimes difficult to use some eye make-up because of out small eyes, i've over the past years mastered the look of 'big' eyes. ^-^

Use black eyeliner to outline the lower lash line, whilst coating your lower lashes with mascara.

Don't bother using mascara on your top lash though, it's difficult to since we have basically no eyelashes lol. You'll just jab your eye, so don't bother trying.

When you have finished lining your lowerlash; use eyeliner on your top lashline, this is at the very bottom of your eyelash.

Open your eyes.
If you can't notice a bit of black on your eyelid then close your eyes and extend the black liner upwards.

Once you can actually see the black line from when your eye is opened use a brush to blend the eyeliner.

Blend until you receive a grey colour of which you are satisfied with.

To complete this look, with a silver cloured pencil, line the inner corners of both eyes to get outstanding eyes.

I love the silver, it makes any asian eyes shimmer in bright light because of the metallic reflection.

Since we don't want to ward any attention away from the eyes [ they are our main focus ] Use a light coloured or clearn lipgloss, and do NOT use blush. This ruins the look and makes it look like you've gone overboard.

Hope this has helped =] Don't worry, follow my advice and you'll look gorgeous.

Try a shadow that is about two shades darker than your eyes. I would try a bronze eyeliner, just a tiny line, and you could put the darker shadow above the eyeliner, then a shade that exactly matches your eye color above that, all well blended into each other and lightly applied, of course. You could also try a brown mascara, lightly applied.

when u look at ur eyes u see the over all color but if u look closely u will see them broken down so if u look and find the bottom layered colors for ur eyes that shade will work the best and u should never wear a color that matches ur outfit always wear ones that compliment ur face

play around with colors you'll be amazed what colors bring out your eyes. bronzes and golds always look good on brown eyes. try colors you'd never wear, maybe thats why you can't find the right color.

You should try eyeshadow shades in jade, olive, violet, amethyst, dove grey, deep slate blue and sable-bronze.

For liner, try violet, navy, hunter green, and deep brown only on top lash line (lining under your eyes will only make them look smaller).

All of these colors, applied subtly, should enhance your ambery eyes. :~)

Gold. Like a bond girl! It looks gross on pale skin but very sophisto on darker skin.
