One possibility is you already have virus/malware on your machine and it is preventing the most widely used AV packages from being installed. That is a common defense on their part.
One way I've gotten around this is to use one of the online virus scanners from people like Trend or Panda. If they identify the virus by name, you can then search the major people for ways to remove it.

The nature of anti virus softwares, makes it so that if you install one on your system, it will see another you try to install - as a virus. That is why it is advised to have only one anti virus system on your system. They will attack each other heh.

maybe your computer truly affect by a virus..I am 85% sure that your computer is really affect..if your virus is spyware,you must download Ewido Anti Spyware,Microsoft Anti Spyware..If yours is adware,I think it should be researched by a site to download an anti-adware!...Tips:Try to research some anti virus such as an adware or spyware..go to : www.yahoo.com/

if your pc already has an anti virus installed it may be messing you up,so check and be sure there is none installed
