I do hope so, otherwise I'll be forced to use them again.

Sorry for the spelling mistake :(

I was looking for suggestions like ATS and Charlie Browns. Unfortunately, my Granny is no longer up to car mechanics.

I do have an excellent local garage, but they cannot compete with them on price for Tyres and Exhausts.

Mind they are not so cheap on tyres any more, since they stopped doing their own make tyres.

I also have bad experiences. Changing a spare tyre, they tried to open my boot with a petrol cap key, ruined the lock and I had to wait for them to get and fit a new lock from the dealers.

I've just had to go back a fourth time to stop a new exhaust they fitted, fitted correctly so that it doesn't knock.

It really gripes me that they have that "Customer Delight" poster up.

Yes! I was told some time ago that the fitters are pressured into finding other jobs to do on top of the tyre or exhaust you went in for. I use my local ATS and they are so helpful and honest its a pleasure, they do good deals too, I just had buy one get one on tyres for my Focus.

Don't use them they are lying thieving bastards. they work on commission so they make stuff up to get as much ££££££££ as they can out of you.
a few years ago i went to them with a problem. wasn't totally sure what it was but had a rough idea. they told me this, this and this needs doing and that it would cost me around £300.
went to another garage for a second opinion and they said it would cost £50 to fix and that not much needed doing.
then went to a 3rd garage and they basically said the same as the second garage and that KWIK FIT were trying to rip me off.

Conclusion: kwik fit are liars and I'll never go there again.

i would not use them if they were the last "engineers" on earth.
when i had my montego estate the previous owner had all the suspension and tyres replaced by them just before he handed the car over to me, within 6 months the front tyres were wearing so badly on the inside edges i took it back to them and they stated that it was down to worn out front suspension struts, and i would need to have them replaced along with the tyres that were affected, i asked to speak to their manager and was told that he was not available, i then produced the receippts for all the work that they had done on the car six months earlier and the denied all knowledge of the engineer that had signed the paperwork, i ended up having to call out the trading standards people and get an independent engineers written report before they would admit that they were liable to replace everything that the independent engineer reported was wrong, and also re-imburse me for all of my expenditure and they were supposed to have paid me a sum of money for my inconvenience, it took several letters to head office before i got my expenses re-imbursed but i am still awaiting the payment for my inconvenience,
so from this debacle i would advise you to steer well clear of them and look for a nice little independent garage as they rely on their reputation by recomedations from satisfied customers.

Yes, I've used Kwik Fit, but they're expensive, and not that quick. I once waited 6 weeks for a wiper blade. Eventually they ordered the wrong part. I drove a mile down the road to the main dealer and fitted it myself in 30 seconds.

local garage everytime, most supply tyres and exhausts far cheaper than kwik fit and better staff.
only downside is you would have to book in.

I would turn that around and say

"Can you get any worse than a Kwick Fit Fitter"

To the tune...." Oh, you CAN'T get shi*t*r than a quick sh*t fitter, we're the boys in truss! Oi"

Is that a fair answer? No conferring, half any an hour, OK boys turnover your papers.

Only any good for tyres. If you want better repairs, get your granny to fiddle with it.
