I don't believe we would be in a war. I don't believe we would be in a recession the government continues to deny. I believe social programs would not have been cut to the bare bones and the chasm between haves and have nots would not be as wide as it is now in this country. We definitely would not be back in national debt.

We would probably have terrorist among us blowing their self's up as they do in other country's, because he wouldn't have done anything about it like Clinton. Our security was already bad when Bush came into office, if Gore would have continued to destroy it we'd be in fear of walking down the street. All democratic presidents have never been good at war, so if he would have tried to fight back we would have suffered terribly as we did in Vietnam. Gore as president is a scary thought in the world we live in today. Maybe we can get through these and get into a peaceful time, then have an democratic president come in and screw it up again.

I really don't know because although Gore seems like he'd be about ten times better then W, I think he would have just sat in office doing nothing. He talked a lot about being for the environment to get the green vote, but while he was vice president... he really did nothing to help the environment with his time there. I think he was just talking. I DO think that nothing would be better than whats going on now, but I don't think he would have made any positive changes for the United States, either.

I would Probably be driving an electric car, because high emission standards would still be in effect in California.

Students would be learning about ways to produce power without the need to burn fossil fuel.

Our service men would be repairing levees, instead of repairing Iraq's infrastructure.

We would not be worried about terrorism, because U.S. oil industries, would have no need to be hovering around Mid East Oil. Further, those nations would not have as much funding to support terrorism.

The twin towers would still be up, because there would not have been an opportunity for the real perpetrators to knock them down. Those 3,000 people that died in them would be alive.

All those soldiers that died so far in the Iraq war would be alive, as well as all those Iraqi civilians and those trying to protect their land from an invasion and subsequent occupation.

The U.S. would not be trying to figure out a way to nuke Iran and still come out in such a way where they could strike again.

We would not be looking at an eminent global warming condition.

Exxon, Haliburton, Cheney, Silverstein, Bush and the super rich would not be as wealthy as they are today.

The country would not be trillions of dollars in debt. Social Security would not be threatened.

I would be in a better mood, since all this evil would not be around me. I would not have to see a bunch of two faced rats, on the tube, trying to sell me their lies.

I would also, not be worried about these clowns trying to convert our country into a world empire.

The whole world would not hate us to death and feel threatened.

In short, the planet would be much more peaceful and respectable place, than it is today.

Can you imagine it? An energy policy crafted to NOT put US dollars in the pockets of the states that fund terrorism. It seems like common sense, yet Bush has done the exact opposite. Can you imagine if we hadn't just spent $260 BILLION in Iraq? Iran would have one less new ally, for starters. And an entire generation of Iraqis wouldn't be growing up training to be future terrorists....

Between no Iraq war, and no tax cuts for the rich, we'd actually have a functioning budget run by adults who know how to add.

It boggles the mind....

911 would still happen but International Relations would be a HELL of alot better!! and Katrina would have been different because when Gore was in office they put in funds to fix those levees in the future, but hahha the money on spent for war.... THE ENVIROMENT would be better for sure!! Global warming wouldn't be kicking our asses so much. Unlike Bush who could care less about the enviroment,He couldn't even sign tony Blair's eviromental clause act but i wonder if he knows that global warming will soon destroy his ranch here texas, well he's been living his life in ignorance so it doesn't matter. I don't mind him being in office it keeps me entertained!

We would be in total kaos, and Gore would be living in luxury in some unknown country. He'd probably be even fatter, and we would be dead or very hungry. Not really, because the viet nam vets would rise, and go take care of business the old fashioned way, but Gore would be hiding.

Good god. We would have had more than one 9/11s. Don't get me wrong his movie was good and true, but we can't have a tree hugger in the White House with Bin Laden attacking us. It wouldn't have worked. I love the electoral college.
