I have a very wide ranging and eclectic taste in music. I am glad that i have learned to open my mind to music that I did not normally listen to before. I find that people who put down an entire genre of music are very narrow- minded and actually know very little about the genre that they claim is so much greater than all others.
In my Mp3 player if have Bob Marley, Led Zeppelin, RHCP, Biggie Smalls, Kanye West, Billie Idol, Greenday, E-40, just to name a few. i have learned overtime not to disrepect another genre of music just because i dont like it. When you do that, your not just putting down other people's music but you are also putting down someone's culture. You seem like an intelligent person but you seem to be saying that just because you dont like something its stupid or inferior. I view that as being the same as putting down another race just because they are not like you. Both actions are basically bigotry once you really think about it. Im not saying you have to like rap or listen to what i listen to, just realize who you are really putting down when you disrespect a certain genre. "An open mind is a freed mind"

ok, i HATE rap.. all you need to do to make a rap "song" is throw some boots in a dryer and turn on the police scanner.. there ya go.
queens of the stone age only had 1 good song and i havent heard josh hommes, but Blue October is good and i like Unwritten Law also.

u dont like 2 pac this guy wrote many songs about how life is in the ghetto he is really famous has great lyrics u should listen to him, but my favorite kind of music is heavy metal METALLICA,CHILDREN OF BODOM ARE THE BEST
