Trapped a bit of grit in the polishing cloth while cleaning my car. Now have deepish swirling marks left in paintwork. Tried Autoglym paint renovator and T-Cut but no joy. Any suggestions other than re-spray?

you can buy a cutting compound which is a bit more aggressive than t-cut your probably have to go some where that sales paint to painters and buy a mop(electric polisher) to aid you in removing the swirls.good luck

You could try taking it to a valeting company to see if it will polish out using a power polisher, but I fear if T cut didnt help you have little choice.
