then proceeded to make negative remarks about the U.S. whats the deal with people in other coutrys having such a negative opinion of us? why do they think were all horribly self centered and ignorent? im sure there people are the same as ours theres good and bad everywhere, we are not all of one mind on any idea or way of living, theUnited States gives more money and food to help other more poor nations survive then ANY OTHER COUTRY ON EARTH this is a fact, were not the only ones over there in this war thats going on and not everyone here agrees with the war, we are not all going around thinking were better then everyone else, were not trying to take over the world why all the lies? they teach things like this in schools in some countrys! Korea for example, they teach there students that americans are bad people and we bully the entire world, this is beyond my understanding, this country is made up of people from every nation on the planet and its overall a good place, why such hatred?

mate, am an ausie,
and its nothing personal, its not that we dont like you, we dont know u, and ur probably a pretty cool guy.
the main point is, America is seen as the global authourity, like a global policeman.
Look at it this way. we have a culture of disliking and mistrusting authority, we came from criminals {and we are DAMN proud of it too :) }.
America is authority. its not the people we dont like.
and also, in australia we have it good, in US, it seems that you are always under the heel, that you are kept in fear by the government as a form of control.
dont know if this is reality or not, but it is how you guys are portraid.

Well, where to start? I'm another Aussie, mate. I have had some experience with Americans. 65/66 in Vietnam with the 173r Airborne. Now that was fun. arrogance & stupidity will get you killed every time. And it did. We could only watch in amazement. No discipline, no fire control and an, "I am the greatist attitude" got them lots of dead mates. Prediduces of all kinds, personal grudges from the Civil war still rage.
Just from talking to them. There was the feeling that, if it wasn't American it wasn't any good & Only American can do anything so we have to help everyone, attitude. Superiority! and most of them were as dum as dog ****. Sorry.
Recently I went to Europe. Well that was an experience. we ran into about 10 groups of Americans. One little fat slob of a kid did nothing but complain the whole time about the places, food, (no big Macs) the people, their clothes etc, on & on & on. Another woman said that she was discussted, after we had been to see the walled City of Carcassone. She said that terrible that they would try to fool tourists by building these types of places and say they were built a 1000 years ago. Only Americans have that sort of technology & she was sorry she came on the trip as it was a rip off. Just a few of the many I could go on & on for hours.
And now. Gods chosen people! Only Americans know how to be Christians & everybody has to be a Christian like they say. I seen some of Americas Tele-evangelists. What a comedy hour. Now you would have to be real dense to believe anything they said. But I see them up there waving there arms & falling over.
Then there are American Politicians. Talk about middle Eastern Corruption, Americans would be hard to beat.
So there you have it mate. I could go on but you get the idea, I'm sure.

That is because American are not knowledgable as well as they should, Americans are known to be ignorant and self centered. Most of the world do not like America anymore because of what its doing in Iraq. The marines kill innovent civilians and they rape Iraqi women, Iraqi do not want Americans to be there. American are also helping Israel with killing and distroying Lebenon, but Americans do not want to see the picture, because they are self centered.
