What's with the double standard?

Question

Almost everyone I ask agrees that kicking people out of their homes without compensation is wrong, but when I ask them if it is just for isreal to do this with the palestinians they completly turn it around and justify isreal's actions, its easy to justify someones actions when it 's done to someone you beleive to be an inferior race,Just like the 1920's blacks were thought less than human and most people did'nt mind that other people opressed them.

You have to understand that 99% of the ppl here have no clue whatsoever about the history of Israel. If you ask them what year it was created they wouldnt even know. They are clueless. They only know what propaganda they are told to believe. Bush has told them that the TERRORIST want to kill Israel so THEY MUST hate the evil terrorist.

That is all they know and since it is what most ppl are telling them, they think they are right. Americans, and I am one of them, are ignorant, uneducated morons for the most part.

I only know Israeli history because I am half Jewish but luckily I have sense enough to realize what is right and what is wrong.

First off there has never been a country called Palestine in over 4500 years of recorded history, Egyptian history.
Second the Israelies were there first, over 3000 years of recorded history, Syrian, Persian, Greek, Egyptian, and Roman.
Thirdly the nomads who are called Palestians were told by Tran-Jordan, Sryia, and the Saudias to move into Israel before Israel became a country again.
Lastly the three major terrorist groups, Hezbollah, Ha mas and the PLO have stated time and again that the only way there will ever be peace in this region is if all the Jews are driven into the sea.

Because it's not a double standard. The land used to create Israel was purchased by the UN. So, the "without compensation" part doesn't apply.

Second, the land was under British control. It was split into three regions: what later became Jordan, and what was partitioned between Israel and Palestine.

The surrounding Arab countries didn't like this, which resulted in the 1948 war. Which Israel won. And as part of the 1949 Armistice agreement, the surrounding countries agreed to recognize Israel's borders. Which have remained pretty much the same since.

Are you aware that there is no such place as Palestine? The very name is an old, old play on the word Philistine, and was given in a derogatory manner at that. There are no Palestinians. They are Arab squatters from here and there in the mid-east. They say they want their country back. What country? They never had one. On the other hand, the Israelis have had their country, on and off, for thousands of years. All they're doing is kicking squatters off their land. Don't take my word for it, look it up. It's called HISTORY. You ought to try it sometime.

Late note: for the girl who said Israel would get away with it as long as the US was backing them, I again refer you to HISTORY which will explain that the Israelis were taking names and kicking tail at least 3,000 years before the US was even thought of.

well its a racial thing again. Palestinians are muslims and darker Israrealies are European Jews, it tends to work in favor of the lighter persons. Israel will do anything and get away with anything as long as the US is backing it. I mean they do get away with alot, people think everyone is out to get them, but you won't get a fight unless you pick afight
