Well actually the Americans are right about one thing they are not a race but they are definitely wrong about the other. Us Australians are one of the top countries in the world. WE are better looking and smarter. We have the best medical unis in the world and the best cars. Now before I get any hate mail, Please remember we are all one in God's eyes so please stop fighting and remember the children of the world Thankyou

A superior "race?"

What race would that be? The Native Americans? The Chinese-Americans, the German-Americans, the Irish-Americans, the Japanese-Americans, the Arab-Americans, the French-Americans, the African-Americans, the Dutch-Americans, the VietNamese-Americans, the Indian-Americans, the Jamaican-Americans, the Italian-Americans, or the Russian-Americans?

If you can first tell me exactly what "race" makes an American, then perhaps we can approach the question of a superiority attitude.

However, if you are talking about American CULTURE, which is a melting pot of many nations, then the simplest answer is pride in the many freedoms we enjoy as a nation. Why? Because it's a better deal than you get elsewhere in the world.

Does that answer your question?

Well in the first place American is not a race, genious, it is a nationality. I think your question just showed one example why some Americans should think they are superior to you at least. Americans probably DO have a superiority complex for many reasons.

1. The only country to have a Democratic-Republic last over 200 years with NEVER a single political overthrow.
2. Among the highest standards of living in the world.
3. The most scientifically-advanced nation on the planet. Remember there is only one flag on the moon and it is the stars and stripes.
4. One of very few countries to have soldiers of one race fight a civil war over the rights of a minority group ( of another race) living within their borders.
5. One of the leading countries in providing the world entertainment and new innovations in mass media.

So while the United States has plenty of dirty laundry (as does each nation) it also has made the world a better place by its contributions.

I don't think we think we are superior, but many of the freedoms we have are superior compared to many other countries. We have so many more opportunities that most people in other countries and yes we are spoiled. For the most part though, Americans are caring people who love their families, their country, and just want to live a good life. I believe us Americans want that for every innocent person throughout the world.

Most of them are Ignorant, brainwashed blockheads. Living the life based on experience made with their TV box.
And the proof you'll get in the other answers... ;D enjoy the stupidity..
ha ha ha... hey didn't i say it?

about the complicated mix of races.
The identity of the race is seen also in human DNA. Interestingly, the DNA of the people from India shows marks of all existing Races. Well... i guess you are not the most complicated... but the most arrogant.

Freedom? I bet no one of you guys has the freedom to walk with his naked a**ss even in his own Garden... wooo the neighbors will report you. You have the freedom to function in the way it's written... somewhere. Is that freedom... no that's Bull$*hit! he he he :D losers!

Hm... To stop WW1(since when that?) and WW2 the influence of America was like the influence of my fart on a storm. But i guess the SS was very thankful, for all those Unused(un-given!) Visas for Jews while WW2, over 200000 Visas... stayed unused. Over 200000 People who was left...for torture and death. Other countries where much generous although much weaker then US. And Bombing civil people, after the END of the WAR, like in Dresden... is simply typically f*** American Way!

I dunno about it being a racial superiority. In the past, there definitely was an idea of superiority through warpower though. I believe its stemmed from the victory of WWII and the first use of nuclear weapons in Japan. America has seen much prosperity in 200 some years. I think if we want to be able to keep that national strength we need to humble ourselves some to go back and start working on things like technology, trade, and textile manufacturing.

First of all, Americans are citizens of a country, not a race. And no, they aren't superior, although there are some who would like to think that.

They think they are because they have the best standard of living in the world, and they achieved it with hard work and many casualties. Through the years they have mount so many wars and with that tactic they had their trade thrive and so their nation prospered.

Nowadays they have imaginary enemies (and for those who are real they provoked them to be) and continue the same tactic just to have control over the middle east, namely oil. After that there is more places in the world to conquer....

I feel sorry for the Americans (for those who sleep the sleep of the "just" while those crimes occur) because they do live in a great country and yet with poor education they're easy marks for propaganda.

I guess you could say we are proud to be americans and thats y it seems like we think were better. in any case americans have a better standard of living and more freedoms then most people in the world.
