how much does family pay to the preacher for funeral services, and if there are 2, do you pay both, or just one amount and they split

They never split. You can call the church office and ask the secretary what is customary since that vaires. You can also just give your own love offering. If you have very little money, $50 is small, but not too shabby. Try to give $100 if you can.

I am not sure what is normal in the state your in but in Arkansas the pastor is paid by the funeral home it's included in your burial cost..
