Stalin may have been paranoid or there may have been a reason for his paranoia. The country Stalin ruled with an iron fist was very large and have a number of different races and areas in it. If he had shown weakness he would have encouraged rebellion to his party's rule of Russia.

Yes, he was paranoid and wanted to be rid of anyone who could usurp his power. Another reason he was quick to murder people was that he ruled a country that went through continous lean times. He wanted 20 million fewer mouths to feed.

I know that Stalin killed more Russians than Hitler killed Germans but we focused more on Hitler because we hated that superpower. Paranoid, NO.

He was paranoid, a ruthless dictator, very angry and a very evil man.He was paranoid for many reasons. He thought people were out to get him and didn't want to let go of his power.

well its jsut a theroy, everyone likes to put a a diff. motive on why ppl do things, like hitler, there is like a million diff. stories of why he killed some jews, but in the end, we may never know, but hey, thats just my opinion
