Wasn't it so much easier when women stayed at home to cook, clean, and take care of the children. While men did all of the thinking and took care of finances? Everyone had their place in society and accepted it. I bet it was so much simpler.

It's better when children can get taken care of by their parent, instead of some baby sitter.

My wife says yes it was much simpler. Think about how far women have come, Next year there going to get drafted into the armed forces. Now thats a real winner.

well, im not a lady, but... if your place in society was to just stand out of the way and let your life get run by one person, no matter how good they were at controlling the woman, wouldn't you get sick of it as a lady? But, i agree, it would be much simpler.

Well alot of the baby boomers lived that way, and they are broke, so I guess men didn't handle the finances too good.
