Because America is always right when they give out weapons. I mean Hussien and Bin Laden didn't just get weapons from the US, but they got full support!! And where are they now??Here is my pproblem the US can have weapons of mass distruction (Russia and US have the most) but no one else can have it. Russia cannot sell weapons to Iran anymore because Iran is bad. Well Russia just lost money because of that sanction, it is not. SO no other country can build its military if it is not a so called "demoractic government". Here is the thing everyone is a terrorist. Some mid-easterners see americans as terrorist and some americans see mid-easterners as terrorist. it is sad because the ones that get hurt are the ones in between. It is hard to fix people that think they are doing the right thing. America thinks the war against terrorism is right so it won't stop, the Islamic extremist think the war against the west is right so it won't stop either!!! people have to look at it like that.

If you're trying to make it a black & white issue by pointing out the hypocrisy of both actions, you are being a simpleton about it.

Clearly, Israel has not vowed to wipe anyone off the map (as Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas have). Israel participates as a legit member of the U.N. documenting such purchases legally. We are not the only ones who sell to Israel. Israel is a state.

Hezbollah, on the other hand, does not represent a nation or state. It's mission is to annihilate it's enemy - Israel - and will use terror tactics and killing innocent civilians without hesitation. For any nation to sell weapons to them, whether it be Iran, Russia, China, etc., would go against the basic concept of responsibility. The issue of selling to Israel is in a different league, since they can be trusted to use it in defense and comply with the will of the international community. Not so with Hezbollah.

You can't make it a black & white issue - there are a million shades of grey. The bottom line is that one is responsible, the other is on a war path of destruction...

Although US or anyone may say Iran cannot give weapons, it is not going to stop Iran from doing so. And, what makes anyone to think that they are not already doing so? All international sales of arms go through the United Nations, what is being sold to whom is listed and the certain types of weapons are also recorded. The United Nations also control what kind of arms can be sold as well. Iran on the other hand has been giving weapons to groups and governments with out going through the United Nations or any body or group that controls the sales of arms so they don't end up in the hands of terrorists or criminal organizations

because were hypocrites. i understand getting pissed about iran selling weapons to terrorists but then again iran considers israel to just be an occupying terrorist force. But where were really being hypocrites is when we the U.S. get pissed over Russia and china selling weapons to other countries. when we do the same exact thing. i.e. we sell our f-16's and other stuff to both india and pakistan who hate each other. Kinda like when we sold weapons to iran and supported iraq publicly in the 80s.

Its amazing isnt it?we have gave weapons to our enemies and we have even trained them to be ace pilots at our NAS in this country...and if the US trusts Israel It wont surprise me of the out come.
