It seems everyone wants to kill their GMs for letting go of people or drafting/not drafting certain people.
I know most people in SD hate ours.

I realize this is a football question, but I think I can speak for those fans that don't like their GM when I suggest that you look at ex-GM Ed Wade of the Phillies, Billy King of the Sixers, and Bobby Clarke of the Flyers. No championships since 1983 while upstart teams in those leagues that have won their titles.
NHL: Tampa Bay Lightning
MLB: Florida Marlins, Arizona Diamondbacks
NBA: Miami Heat
Not to mention those teams that have won after relocating to another city.

Because Mike Brown made Cincinnati the laughing stock of the NFL for a decade and a half... that's why. Now that he has finally butted out and let football people (In Marvin We Trust) do the job, the Bengals are one of the best teams in football.
