Does anyone find the practice of feeding chemicals to a pet to change the way they smell more than questionable? Would these people feed the stuff to their babies to keep the diapers smelling sweet? If you don't like the smell of animal waste, don't get an animal that has smelly waste. Poop smells like poop. Don't get an animal if you cannot deal with it. Just my humble opinion. Any input?

And thank you CHASS for your answer. That coming from a person who in a previous answer referred to meerkats and ferrets as rodents. Nuff said!!!

I agree, I've never used the stuff (hate marshalls products anyways). Dumping stuff in their water isn't going to make up for poor husbandry habits. Ferrets really don't stink that bad if you take proper care of them.

I do find it questionable. Natural herbs and such are one thing but chemicals are already too much a presence in our environment.

I have a golden named Sophie who can get a little smelly between baths (especially when she's wet from the rain) but rather than changing body chemistry we just use this stuff called Approach. It's a natural odor eliminator and it works great.

You buy a pet to love them as is, not to try to change their bodies.

As my favorite quote says: I hope to become the man my dog thinks I am.

Bi-Odor is completely harmless & the animal doesn't care either way I KNOW BC I'VE TRIED IT ON A COUPLE OF MY FERRETS ONCE! I've tried all kinds of differet drinking water with and without it... they seemed to drink it more with Bi-Odor in it!

WTF is the big deal? Bi-Odor is the least harmful of chemicals used on animals... ppl do inhumane things all the time & your are concerned with a humane way of reducing animal smell? oh please!

Personnally the shampoo made for ferrets is more harmful bc I can't find anything to use on my ferret w/out ellergic reactions (except body wash but I am afraid of long-term damage) :0(

Yep, I would have to agree with you on that one. Don't know if it is cruel exactly, but definately questionable. There are better ways to control litterbox odor, such as CLEANING it, lol! And feeding food that is not fish based. Yep, everybody, (and every creature), poops, just DEAL with it!!!! LOL

preserving your ferrets or small animals cage exact wiped sparkling is what facilitates. individually...letting your animal ingest something that asserts it makes your poo or pee odorless would not look risk-free to me! And we could face it...have you ever completed your learn on Marshall Farms at present? they are not precisely the form of folk you need to be trusting of whilst it includes your pets.
