Why does America hate Conservatives? Is this related to Bush's record low poll numbers?

Most people who are Liberal will stick to Liberals no matter what. Conservative people are the same way. No matter how bad things get they seem to stick together

However poll numbers have shown new records for low approval ratings for Bush. Other polls show Dems over Rep 4-1 in this years elections. Half of these poll numbers are from Conservative polls like Fox news/opinion poll. http://www.pollingreport.com/BushJob.htm

The Brookings report concluded that most of America is Liberal. They believe in freedoms, they don't care if people are gay (just as long as they don't put their beliefs on them) etc, etc.

With record low poll numbers is this the end for conservatives? Or do most people including conservatives hate Bush?

With Dems expected to win 4 - 1 is this the sign that America is Liberal?

To jakobmcandles. I was having a wet dream, and when I woke up your head was bopping up and down by my waist. You were yelling something about screwing America out of their Soc Sec and raising our deficit. Sounds Conservative to me.

Polls showed Kerry winning the last election. Wrong! The Brooking report did not go to rural America where they would find most people are conservatives. Thats why conservatives have won most elections recently. But also Conservatives believe in freedom too.

I think Bush's low approval ratings is a sign that Bush is unpopular. I would hesitate to read too much more into it.

Many small-government conservatives and libertarians are upset about Bush's continued expansion of the federal government. Some are frustrated about the lack of a plan to win the peace in Iraq, or to think that we could engage in nation-building in the first place.

The list goes on, but Reagan-type conservatives have many reasons to be unhappy with Bush.

Americans love a Winner. Americans love to Win. Think back at that disastrous Vietnam War -
practically the whole country turned against the Government.
Iraq has turned into another Vietnam and Americans hate to lose.
